Jayhawk Chapter
MOAA Newsletter

This newsletter is published by the Jayhawk Chapter of Kansas, Military Officers Association of America, as a service to all members.  The Jayhawk emblem is used with the permission of the registered trademark owner, the University of Kansas.  Publication is made at bimonthly intervals.  The newsletter is only as good as the material available, so each member is requested to forward news and other items of interest to the editor or one of the service editors.

The Program: Richard Norton Smith, Director of the Dole Institute of Politics, will speak on

plans for the dedication of the new center at K.U. and events labeled "The

Greatest Generation's Greatest Celebration."

President's Corner

by Stanley Sneegas

Spring has sprung. With the longer daylight hours I invite all of you to attend our April meeting. We have a great speaker linded up to tell us about the Dole Center. It should be a special time for all of us with the emphasis on Veterans.

Your board added an additional meeting in the spring and fall for those people  who wanted to meet with more light and nicer weather. Your support will determine whether or not we continue these additional meetings in the future. Tom Carmody is lining up some good programs this year and we need your support to make the Jayhawk Chapter the best one in MOAA. Hope to see YOU there.

Regards,
