President’s Corner

by Tom Carmody

Dear Fellow Chapter Members,

The saying goes, all good things must come to an end. That is how I feel about the end of my tenure as president of the Jayhawk Chapter.

I feel we have had a good year, six dinner meetings with interesting and informative programs, along with great dinners at the Lawrence Country Club.

I want to thank all of you for being members of the Jayhawk Chapter and for attending our dinner meetings.

Special thanks to those officers that have helped me.

Bob Longino, first VP and president elect 2005.

Don Sheriff, second VP, our personal affairs officer and liaison with Ft. Leavenworth the past few years.

Jeff Heeb, secretary for the past seven years

Buck Newsom, treasurer for the past twelve years

Also, thanks to the board of directors:

Herschel Stroud, David Hanson, Jim Cooper, Bill Venohr and

             Lance Rombough

And special thanks to John and Shirley Halladay for all the help they give. Thanks to Ron Meyers who keeps our mailing list up to date, and to Stan Sneegas, our web master.

Please try to attend the January meeting and welcome our new slate of officers.

Regards,

Tom
