Photographer Needed

The Jayhawk TROA Chapter is searching for a chapter photographer.  We need an individual with a digital camera to be available at meetings to photograph speakers, award presentations and the like.  Our long term goal is to have a picture of all members and spouses to be included in
the annual membership roster.  The Board feels we need to get to know each other better and a photo goes a long way, especially with compromised memories, toward remembering and greeting our members.  If you are the man or woman willing to assume such a role, please call Jerry Nossaman at 842-7181 or e-mail jmax@sunflower.com.

Habitat For Humanity

The Jayhawk TROA chapter received a nice letter from Lawrence Habitat for Humanity thanking us for supporting their 2001 Golf-For Habitat Tournament.  The event raised $15,000 that will be used to build

their next Habitat house at 1705 Atherton Court.  Construction began on August 25 and should take about 14 weeks to complete.  Anyone is welcome to stop by and see the work in progress or even pick up a hammer or

saw.
The TROA board thanks those who participated, contributed, or are active in this most worth-while cause.  MGEN Clayton Comfort is President of the Habitat Board.
